THE ELEMENTAL PENTACLE - Carved in Solid Oak (Ceremonial Magic Elemental tool - Earth Altar Pentacle)

7 inches (18 cm) in diameter and 3/4 inch (1.8 cm) thick

A new design for an Earth Pentacle based upon the description of a recommended tool for the earth element by David Rankine and Sorita d'Este in their important work "Practical Elemental Magick - Working the Magick of the Four Elements in the Western Mystery Tradition" (2008).

An incredibly powerful design - this is based on a Jupiter talisman from The Key Of Solomon. An equal armed cross in a circle, the names of the four elemental rulers are carved into each arm of the cross. A hexagram is featured in the circle's centre - representing the universe and the 4 elemental triangles contained within in. Around the outside the pentagrams of the cardinal points are carved, each orientated around the centre. In the North the Triangle of Earth is carved with a second triangle inside it -- this symbolises Ariel, the elemental ruler of Earth.

Carved into rich, vibrant solid oak wood. Nicely textured with knots and features to make a truly unique item. A perfectly sized tool central to ceremonial magic. Enriched with a darker wax than I usually use - bringing out a rich grain of the oak whilst further contrasting the carved areas.
