ARS PAULINA - Large Table of Practice. Carved in solid walnut.

A very commanding piece - 13.5 inches diameter (just under 35 cm) and a hefty 1.1 inches (2.8cm) thick. The Table of Practice as detailed in the Ars Paulina / “The Art Pauline” from the Lesser Key of Solomon.

I redrew the design for this Table of Practice by hand, carefully recreating all the planetary sigils from The Magical Calendar (1620) and cross referencing their placement and layout the Joseph H. Peterson’s Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis. This is the cleanest, clearest and most correct version of this table of practice that I have seen. A very detailed carving — each planetary seal is recessed into the wood by 1/8 inch (3.2 cm) so that vessels or candles may be placed upon them in a holder.

THE PAULINE ART — an often neglected folio from the Lesser Key of Solomon. An elegant system of angelic magic influenced by the Heptameron, Trithemius's Steganographia and the work of Paracelsus.

Making this detailed carving is quite an intensive, time consuming job. Turnaround time on these is approximately 5-6 weeks. Once I’m happy with the final carving, I’ll send over work-in-progress photos as it nears completion. As this is a large, heavy piece I’ll ship it worldwide via courier. Thank you!
